*UNIT D202 INCLUDES COMPLEMENTARY BEACH SERVICE (2 CHAIRS, 1 UMBRELLA) Totally redecorated 2 BR 2 BA unit offers dual king suites with TVs, separate full baths, including a Nectar and plush top mattresses, plus Sealy Queen Sleeper Sofa. Unit comfortably sleeps 6 with room for inflatable bed(s). Features a new 55” Smart TV, furniture and décor throughout. Second floor unit with elevator access. Large patio featuring view of the beach, pool, and courtyard along with outdoor dining & cozy seating area. The fully equipped kitchen offers also includes microwave/air fryer/convection oven & dual coffee maker (K Cups & carafe). BONUS ITEMS: Beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler to use after hours, dehumidifier to keep unit cooler, limited in-house fitness equipment.

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  This unit and the condominium complex is a breath of fresh air! If you must go to Destin and you don't like crowds, this is a good option. The unit was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. One of the bathrooms is a bit small, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

  Silver Dunes has been our summer vacation for over 40 years. We love the location, friendly service and that it’s not a huge sky rise. We also love the evening events.
  A couple of things to consider: update the gym and bring back the towel service please. The increase in weekly prices should not also mean a cut in service.

  The stay was very good. The condo was the right size for two couples for some of the time. We love the barbeque option. Our group used them frequently for shrimp and fish, while having a beer and a cigar. Fun! The two women in the office are very friendly and answered all of the questions quickly.

  Each step in the rental process was easy to complete. Each time I had a question the staff in the office was patient and helpful. My wife and I loved the unit design with the big windows overlooking the pool and yet could still see the gulf. The unit was clean and the very small maintenance item we had was quickly handled by the maintenance crew. The location of Silver Dunes, in Destin, allows for a lot walking to various spots. Driving to others areas was very easy in both going east and west. The process of getting in and out of Silver Dunes with a car, is through a sliding gate that was very easy enter and exit. Silver Dunes allows guest to barbeque which we took advantage of on a number of occasions.
