Unit C 1201

This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that is located on the 2nd floor of the C building. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own private bath. The guest bedroom has 2 double beds. The living room sofa will pull out to make a queen sleeper. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots/pans that are ready for your use. Unit as tile floors with carpet in the bedrooms. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. Enjoy the sunset, children playing in the courtyard or the pool from you own private covered balcony.

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  Had a wonderful experience with all aspects of the renting process. The unit itself needs updating. Tired looking bedspreads, drapes and furniture, burned out lightbulbs in some lamps, outlets taped over and unable to use and shower knob in 2nd bedroom not working. Location of the condo was great and it was very clean and well stocked.

  We booked a last minute trip to Destin FL and found this gem. It's a little out dated, but the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Parking was excellent, the walk to the beach was great. My only complaint was that it smelled a bit musty (sometimes smelled like cigarette smoke, but I think it was just humidity?). Other than that it was a great stay and feel very blessed that we were able to find such a great property close to the beach. Thank you!

  Beautiful location,great view of the ocean, & very clean condo.The condo needs to be updated. The guest bedroom mattresses need to be replaced-
  very noisy, as well as the master bath shower enclosure broken handle. The deck furniture was very nice & were able to use it often during our stay.

  We have stayed in this condo many times. The couches in the living area was a nice upgrade, but the owners really need to upgrade bedroom linens! Those have been in there for years and they are old and worn. The other furniture and decorations are seasoned. Compared to other units that cost similar in price this one is one is in need of updates. It also is missing many items in the kitchen. Overall, Silver Dunes was wonderful!!

  Condo had beautiful views of the ocean. The weather wasn't the best,but better than the WI weather. The last week of our stay was warm & sunny. The condo had a nice get-together for the guests with cheeses & wine one afternoon. Very nice! Lots of restaurants & shopping available in the area.

  We have been coming to Silver Dunes on and off for over 30 years. We love the complex-not too big-not too small. Great ocean views. The beach service that George provides is 5 star. He makes sure people do not come set up in front of you, which is a big problem at other hotels. We will keep coming back again and again to Silver Dunes. Great for families. If there was one thing I could change it would be to provide more than 3 trash bags and 2 dishwasher powder
