*UNIT INCLUDES COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE!! Enjoy beachfront living during your stay at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo in Destin! Living room has plenty of windows to watch the waves roll on shore. Washer and dryer in unit. Newly remodeled kitchen with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal! The condo is located in the gated community, Silver Dunes Condominiums and is perfect for up to 8 guests who want to spend their days lounging by the community pool or swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll also be within driving distance of many other area attractions when you’re interested in taking a break from the sun! . Silver Dunes’ large private beach offers beach service from March thru November, which can be reserved onsite. Silver Dunes is a small complex of 98 units, and is known for its family-focused atmosphere.

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  We absolutely loved our stay. Our entire family was on the first floor in three units overlooking the pool and the lawn. With 9 children, there was plenty to do. I have let the management know that our tv in the living area was not user friendly for us. We enjoy watching national news, golf and the main steam networks but we needed a tutorial. Also, the master bedroom was too warm. Those were our only complaints. We loved it and want to return in a year if the issues cited above can be attended to! Thank you for a great stay.

  We had the best time at Silver Dunes! This condo was perfect! Comfortable and amazing views! Only recommendation I have is that they provide dish soap and more than two rolls of toilet paper as well as trash sacks. It would have also been a nice touch to have beach towels provided so we wouldn’t have to travel with 6 big beach towels. Can’t wait to come back and visit again!!

  bd have been coming to Silver Dunes for 14 years staying in various condos. Must say, favorite location and condos nicely updated except for 1403. Could be updated to meet standards. Have stayed in these before and appreciate upkeep.

It is right on the beachfront and the ocean can be seen from the living/dining room and both bedrooms.The huge balcony was a great plus. The unit was well maintained and updated. The location is great too. Whether you want fine or casual dining, grocery stores or shopping, everything is nearby.And the harbour is nearby for recreational fun like dolphin tours,night cruises etc. It is a gated community and the staff was pleasant. I loved every minute of my stay here!

  Silver Dunes is a great vacation spot. This year they were doing renovations to several of the buildings but the necessary inconvenience will only lead to a more beautiful experience next year. You can’t have progress without a bit of hardship.
  All of the staff was very helpful during this time. Any request was met with courtesy and a smile.
  My only request would be more communication before arrival so that renters are aware of any ongoing problems. This would easily be done thru an email to the snowbirds. Remember we aren’t second class citizens and most of us return year after year.

  Great location. Good for snowbirds. Needs a bigger place for get-togethers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool heater was broken part of the time. It is shown in the internet that THEY provide Bunco, water aerobics, ladies coffee and cocktail hour. This is not true. These activities are all done by the snowbirds. No contribution from Sillver Dunes. Booking fees are extremely high.
