Unit A 102

This unit is located on the first floor of the A Building. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that will sleep 8 people. Living Room offers a sofa that pulls out to a queen size sleeper. For the football fanatics, owner has SEC football channel!! Master bedroom has a king and its own private bathroom while the guest bedroom has 2 double beds. Large patio opens up to courtyard and pool. White sand and emerald green water is only a 50 yard walk through our manicured courtyard. Kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots/pans for preparing your meals. This unit sleeps 8. Non Smoking

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  This condo is wonderful and has everything you need. My only complaint would be that the cleaning crew had not done the floors or counters. I heard this same thing from others too and it’s been a problem for me before. SD has got to get a handle on cleanliness.

  Love staying at Silver Dunes. It's the best. Unit A102 is extremely nice. However, the leather sofa desperately needs to be replaced. The cushions won't stay put and keep sliding out forward. Very uncomfortable.

  This unit is the most beautiful we have stayed in to date and we have stayed in a bunch at Silver Dunes. The website is doing it a disservice by not showing you the updated photos with all cabinets and the most beautiful white granite I have ever seen. Plus the floors are the new wood plank tiles in a white and grey that just wraps the whole look together. The amenities are very nice. The furnishings are comfy. It’s a bottom floor unit so it’s easy access for parking, pool and beach.
  
  The only issues we had were the cable unit in the master was not working. Maintenance arrived promptly to help and spent hours in the phone with the cable company but it was not resolved while we were there. It sounded like the owner would need to call them. We all know how EASY it is to deal with cable companies. The only other thing I’d recommend is replacing the two easy chairs with the worn out headrests. They cover them with blankets but that would really complete the finish of the unit.
  
  I highly recommend booking this unit. You will not be disappointed. It is BEAUTIFUL!!!

    Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review! The owner's of the units did replace those two chairs, and got the cable situation fixed! Hopefully we can sneak in the unit to get some updated photos since it was just remolded before peak season. This unit has been booked solid since construction ended. Some of our front office staff have yet to see it. Thank you again for the great review!

  It was wonderful except for the weather. The remodeling was absolutely beautiful. This was our 22nd year to stay there. Not real pleased with the new rules for towel exchange but we can live with it.

  First of all I came a day early not noticing they changed the check in day to Sunday. Lucky for me the people before left a day early so housekeeping were able to get the unit cleaned so I could move in that day. The front desk ladies could not have been any nicer.
