3 Bedroom 2 Bath spacious unit 27 located on the 2nd floor of the Penthouse Building. Master bedroom has 2 double beds with a walk in shower. 2 queen size beds in the guest bedroom and 1 queen in the other guest bedroom. Large kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and appliances. Unit is equipped with a washer and dryer. Dryer is located in closet on balcony. A short 75 yard walk to beach through a manicured courtyard and you will be playing in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Centrally located to the pool, game room, and BBQ grills. This unit will sleep a total of 8 people. NON SMOKING

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  We enjoyed unit 27 as there was plenty of space for our children and family to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I didn't expect a view of the ocean due to the location of the unit but we actually had a partial ocean view off the balcony. This is a very family oriented facility as they had live music at the pool, movie night and smores for the kids. I highly recommend this unit for a family vacation!

  Rented our old Condo after selling it two years ago. Everything was great. Grounds really looked good as well as the new resurfaced Tennis courts. Beach service was excellent. Chris, Craig and their staff at the new Beach Service were fantastic and were on top of everything. Umbrella sets were put up early and looked great.The staff was also very professional and friendly. The new staff which we hadn't met before were just great. Derek, Amber, Andy and Mary Lou seemed to go out of their way to make the guests feel at home. Things seemed to run a lot smoother than in the past.

  We have stayed at Silver Dunes annually for many years. Several of those years have been in Unit 27, which is a fine unit. AC works well, which is important. The town of Destin is quite busy, but Silver Dunes allows one to escape that.

  Unit 27 had great furnishings and kitchen supplies. The unit was spacious, and we had a blast. We just as much fun at Silver Dunes in 2019 as we had when we were there as kids in the 1980’s!
