Unit 005 SD

Located in the Penthouse building, this is a 2 bedroom 2 bath ground floor unit. Patio opens up to the courtyard and pool area and has a short 75 yard walk to the beach through a manicured courtyard. Recently redecorated, unit 5 has the feel of the beach all through the unit to keep you relaxed during your stay! Unit has a king size bed in the master bedroom, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the guest bedroom. Sofa is a queen size sleeper sofa. There is a washer and dryer in this unit. This unit will sleep a maximum of 7 people. Non smoking.

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at 850-797-6123. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

  Very nice clean and covenient. Location is great and easy access to ocean pool etc. However it was very dark inside. No overhead lighting or fans in bedrooms. Outlets to electricity outdated. No place to plug in electronics unless you have your your own charging blocks for everything (very minor) we loved our stay

  Loved our beautiful two bedroom condo at Silver Dunes.
  Condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The resort was also well maintained. The Mangement staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was awesome and beachfront. The staff that operated the umbrella's and chairs were helpful and so nice. I would definitely recommend Silver Dunes to my family and friends.

  We spent two weeks in this lovely unit. So happy to see the new flooring and updated bathrooms and fresh paint. Unit needs a new ice maker in the freezer as it quit working twice. The kitchen is well-equipped. Glad to hear that new windows will be going in. Love the convenience to the pool and parking and the beach. Beach service would be a nice bonus added, like many of the units. Very satisfied. Will keep coming back! Making beach memories that will last a lifetime! (Front door could use an extra latch on the inside to use at night for better security. Door doesn't always latch if not pushed hard enough.)

  Overall our stay at Silver Dunes was good. This is a great place for families. The resort is older and nestled between newer high rise resorts. I liked the quaintness. It is small and quite. However the unit I rented could use some updating and new funiture. The funiture was older and worn. The mattress in the master suite needs to be replaced. The carpet throughout was also worn. It needed a deep clean.
  I would consider staying here again, but in a different unit.

  We actually rented 10 condos for the week of July 13 to 20. Loved having the convenience of all ground floor units ... no elevators. All 10 condos were great, everyone loved the pool and the large play area. Of course, the white sand beach was the highlight and George did a fantastic job for our family!
